Samsung sells more smart phones than Apple

Numbers of phone sales and market share for Q3-2011 are out. And it just happened, Apple is no longer the largest seller of intelligent phones.
Neither it was last year, it just achieve first position at the beginning of 2011, but it is no longer number one…
After its iOS Operating systems fell back and Android (Google one) took the lead at the beginning of the year, Apple iPhone also lagged behind a manufacturer that did not have smartphones two years ago.
Apple sales increased from 14.1 million units on Q3-10 to 17,1 Million Units in Q3-11 or 21%. That is Apple iPhone grew just half of the global smartphone market growth: 44%.
However, Samsung grew 271% year over year. And Samsung created its first smartphone two years ago, while Apple released its first iPhone 3 more than four years ago
Do not miss Nokia. A year ago, it still was the company with the largest smartphone sales. On the third quarter, they have sold 37% less smartphones on a market with over 40% growth
But the big question remains after Steve Jobs passed away: who will create more innovations at Apple to go back up again
